The recordings were edited and issued on flexi-discs through the Official Beatles Fan Club in England. The records were not available for sale, but were distributed free to Fan Club members. WebAug 19, 2008 · These were extracts from recordings made on 6 December 1966 for the pirate stations Radio London and Radio Caroline. ‘Christmas Time (Is Here Again)’ was The Beatles’ final Christmas disc to be recorded together at Abbey Road. In 1968 and 1969 their contributions were recorded separately, and edited together to give a sense of unity.

I think my brother obtained an unofficial Beatles Christmas LP though it looked like the real thing at the time. Listening to the messages by year is an interesting exercise in tracking the history of the band during their existence. The difference between 1966 and 1969 is pretty telling. male combover
