Web13 aug. 2024 · We apply this approach to XPS data sets acquired from six battery-relevant inorganic phases including lithium metal (Li0), lithium oxide (Li 2 O), lithium peroxide (Li 2 O 2 ), lithium hydroxide (LiOH), lithium carbonate (Li 2 CO 3 ), and lithium nitride (Li 3 N). Lithium peroxide is the inorganic compound with the formula Li2O2. It is a white, nonhygroscopic solid. Because of its high oxygen:mass and oxygen:volume ratios, the solid has been used to remove CO2 from the atmosphere in spacecraft.
